APPLICATION:
Inibitor 214 is a liquid conditioning agent used to eliminate dissolved oxygen in feed water, which can give rise to pitting corrosive phenomena. Its remarkable reducing properties facilitate the formation of magnetite on the tube bundle, giving a dark colour to the metal and significantly slowing down the attack by gas. Being a volatile formulation, it is also excellent for use in instantaneous steam boilers.
