APPLICATION:
Protector 121 is an excellent temporary protector to prevent oxidation of tools, machines and metal parts of all kinds. It protects metal from oxidation by forming a dry, hard, very thin and practically invisible film on the treated surface. Thanks to its characteristics, it is suitable for medium-long term protection of metal parts, even outdoors and in humid environments. The Protector 121 film is resistant to scratches, does not yellow and does not lose gloss and transparency over time. Protector 121 effectively protects steel, light alloys and non-ferrous metals; in fact, it is able to protect aluminium surfaces for 1000 hours in salt mist (NaCl 5%, 50°C). Surfaces treated with Protector 121 can also be painted. However, it is advisable to carry out a preventive compatibility test with the paint to be used.
